We are now in the delayed phase of our response to COVID-19. This entails significant changes to how we identify and manage potential cases of COVID-19. Advice for NHS organisations is now as follows:
1. The public are being advised to stay at home self-isolate for 10 days if develop symptoms OR 14 days if any household develops symptoms without any testing for COVID-19, regardless of travel history or contact with confirmed cases, if they have:
a. A new continuous cough
b. High temperature (of 37.8 degrees centigrade or higher)


c. Loss/change to sense of smell/taste


MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCE. STAY AT HOME AND SAVE LIVES.


When We Are Closed

outofhoursNHSDirect provide out of hours care. If you need urgent medical attention when the surgery is closed please contact NHS Direct.

NHS Direct also provide medical advice via telephone or the internet.

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS Direct (111) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

 Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains / shortness of breath / collapse / serious injuries all constitute an emergency.
