We are now in the delayed phase of our response to COVID-19. This entails significant changes to how we identify and manage potential cases of COVID-19. Advice for NHS organisations is now as follows:
1. The public are being advised to stay at home self-isolate for 10 days if develop symptoms OR 14 days if any household develops symptoms without any testing for COVID-19, regardless of travel history or contact with confirmed cases, if they have:
a. A new continuous cough
b. High temperature (of 37.8 degrees centigrade or higher)

c. Loss/change to sense of smell/taste


Named Accountable GP

From the 1st of April 2015, the practice is required under the terms of the latest GP contract to allocate all patients a named accountable GP who will be responsible for your overall care. This has been done for all existing patients.

If you were aged over 75 and registered before 01 April 2015 you will have already been allocated a named accountable GP by letter – this named GP will remain the same and will not change.

Please be aware that you may still see any GP of your choice at the surgery and do not have to see your named accountable GP, nor does this mean that you will only be offered appointments with your named GP.
